College of Islamic Sciences Holds Student Seminar on “Psychological Awareness and Mental Health for University Students: Towards a Balanced Academic Life”

The College of Islamic Sciences organized a student-focused seminar titled “Psychological Awareness and Mental Health for University Students: Towards a Balanced Academic Life”, delivered by Dr. Abbas Adnan, with the participation of a number of students from the College.

The seminar emphasized the importance of fostering psychological awareness among university students and achieving a balance between academic demands and personal life, highlighting that attention to mental health is a key factor for academic success and effective coping with university stressors.

Dr. Abbas Adnan addressed common psychological challenges faced by students, such as academic anxiety, exam pressure, poor time management, and the impact of social factors on mental stability. He also provided practical guidance to help students improve their mental health, including mental organization, avoiding exhaustion, developing communication skills, and seeking support when needed.
