The President of the University of Warith Al-Anbyiaa, Professor Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayyawi, participated in the Second Academic Conference of Karbala Scholars, held at Al-Ukhaidir Fortress. The conference was organised by the local government in cooperation with the University of Karbala, with the attendance of a distinguished group of academics and specialists.
The President stated that the conference reflects a serious commitment to utilising research outcomes to address real-world challenges. He emphasised the importance of adopting practical and applicable scientific approaches that support development.
He also highlighted the need to balance the unique character of the city of Karbala with the demands of modern development. This, he noted, strengthens the role of academic institutions in providing scientific solutions that serve society and respond to contemporary changes.
This participation reflects the University’s continued support for scientific activities and research conferences. It aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) through the promotion of scientific research, Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by advancing applied scientific solutions, and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through collaboration between academic and governmental institutions.
